Die Villa Holstein ist ein Jugendstil Gebäude in Bad Salzuflen in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland.
Die Villa wurde 1911-1912 im Auftrag des Textilfabrikanten Carl Holstein erbaut und liegt im Stadtteil Obernberg am Kurpark des Staatsbades.
Carl Holstein war ein deutscher Textilfabrikant, der im späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert lebte. Er wurde am 22. Januar 1853 in Bad Salzuflen geboren und verstarb am 27. Februar 1922 ebenda.
Holstein war der Sohn eines Textilkaufmanns und erlernte ebenfalls das Textilhandwerk. 1884 gründete er in Bad Salzuflen seine eigene Textilfabrik, die sich auf die Produktion von Wollstoffen spezialisierte. Das Unternehmen wuchs schnell und beschäftigte bald mehrere hundert Mitarbeiter. Carl Holstein galt als innovativer Unternehmer, der stets auf die neuesten Technologien setzte und seine Produkte auf Messen im In- und Ausland präsentierte.
Holstein engagierte sich auch in der Kommunalpolitik und war von 1908 bis 1918 Mitglied des Preußischen Abgeordnetenhauses.
Die Villa Holstein, die er in Bad Salzuflen erbauen ließ, war nicht nur sein privates Domizil, sondern auch ein Repräsentationsgebäude, in dem er Geschäftspartner empfing.
Nach dem Tod von Carl Holstein wurde die Textilfabrik von seinen Söhnen weitergeführt und existierte bis in die 1960er Jahre.
Heute erinnert die Villa Holstein als einziges erhaltenes Gebäude an das Wirken des erfolgreichen Textilunternehmers.
Das Haus wurde 2011 von dem Hotelier und Unternehmensberater Stefan Bajda aus München erworben und 2012 umfangreich renoviert und umgebaut.
Bajda, der sich einen Namen als Führungskraft der deutschen Hotellerie gemacht hat, positionierte das Hotel als Thermenhotel zur VitaSol Therme in Bad Salzuflen.
Besonderes Merkmal ist das große parkähnliche Grundstück, das das Haus umgibt.
Die Villa Holstein wird heute als Boutique Hotel genutzt und bietet Komfortzimmer sowie ein Restaurant.
Die Villa ist auch ein beliebter Veranstaltungsort für Hochzeiten und andere besondere Anlässe.

Carl Holstein was a German textile manufacturer who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born in Bad Salzuflen on January 22, 1853, and died there on February 27, 1922.
Holstein was the son of a textile merchant and also learned the textile trade. In 1884, he founded his own textile factory in Bad Salzuflen, specializing in the production of woolen fabrics. The company grew rapidly and soon employed several hundred people. The building was acquired by hotelier and management consultant Stefan Bajda from Munich in 2011 and extensively renovated and remodeled in 2012.
Bajda, who has made a name for himself as a leader in the German hotel industry, positioned the hotel as a spa hotel for the VitaSol Therme in Bad Salzuflen.
A special feature is the large, park-like grounds surrounding the building.
Villa Holstein is now a boutique hotel, offering comfortable rooms and a restaurant.
The villa is also a popular venue for weddings and other special events.
